Trollflöjten (1975)
Directed by Ingmar Bergman
While the pentagrams seen in the zodiac would appear to be of little or no significance, it is noteworthy that in this entire production of what has been claimed to be Mozart’s masonic opera, Bergman has not incorporated a single masonic image. Compare this to an episode of the tv drama Inspector Morse, in which Morse performs in an amateur production of The Magic Flute, wearing a square and compasses necklace.
