Robert Burns
[Rabbie Burns]
Detail from an engraving owned by Ancient Light Lodge No. 88 in Delta, BC.
Based on Alexander Nasmyth's 1787 portrait, this hand tinted engraving is a facsimile of an original painting by Stewart Watson in the posession of the Grand Lodge of Scotland.
The bottom of this copy was unfortunately trimmed for framing in 1924. The two stars at the bottom are not found on other copies of the engraving. [LARGER IMAGE]
A copy of a monochrome engraving is held by Centennial-King George Lodge No. 171, in Richmond, BC.
