[Thomas Fletcher Neelands]
March 8, 1862 - December 2, 1944
Arriving from Carleton, Ontario in March of 1886, Thomas Neelands served as Vancouver mayor for 1902-1903.
Burned out of the flour and feed business in the Great Fire, he was involved with the Pacific Building Society. He officiated at the cornerstone laying of the Vancouver Free Library at Main and Hastingson March 29, 1902.
