The rock band Deadsy uses both the masonic square and compasses and a masonic cypher1 in the video for their song "The Key To Gramercy Park,"2 from their 2002 album Commencement. Also see "Poker Chris on Deadsy." Both the square and compasses, and the cypher, are also used in their promotional material.

2.The Grand Lodge of New York, Free and Accepted Masons, is located on Gramercy Park at 71 West 23rd Street. Gramercy Park, the last private park in New York City, is gated and requires a key to get into it.
