Cities Of The Underworld (2007)
In forty episodes over two years, host Don Wildman explored "the subterranean environment and culture beneath various civilizations". Somewhere between visiting Hitler's Underground Lair and the Tomb of the Lost Mummies, he explored freemasons' involvement in the American Revolutionary War and the pre-Civil War underground railway.
While doing a reasonable job of sticking to the facts, he gilds the lily by overvaluing the significance of Freemasonry on the actions of a few significant freemasons. Unfortunately he insists on referring to them as "the Freemasons". Note the definite article 'the', used to mark a proper noun denoting a class of common interest; further promoting the fiction that the acts of individual freemasons were directed by or for a central organisation.
